We had previously been taking our dog to a different veterinary hospital and veterinarian for his routine care. When our dog, who was a super senior, developed a more complex health issue, however, it became clear that they were unsure how to proceed, so we sought a second opinion from Family Pet Hospital, and we are so grateful we did.
We worked with Dr. Molly Abernathy, who was a 10/10 professional. She was compassionate, knowledgeable, and exceptionally competent in her care for our dog. The support staff was also incredibly professional, kind, and supportive.
Unfortunately, our dog's illness ultimately led us to the difficult decision to euthanize him, but Dr. Abernathy helped us reach that decision with the information and clarity we needed through efficient, appropriate diagnostics, while ensuring that he did not experience prolonged or unnecessary suffering and distress. When the time came to say goodbye to our best friend, she provided exceptional care, and made the experience as peaceful and dignified as possible.
We are very appreciative of Dr. Abernathy and everyone at Family Pet Hospital during this final chapter of Buster's life. Moving forward, any other animals we are fortunate enough to share our lives with will be seeing Dr. Abernathy for their veterinary care.
My dog Cosmo and I had such a great first visit with Dr. Rowe and his team! They were caring and professional. When I left the appointment, I found a lost dog around the corner. They helped me read her microchip and attempt to locate the owner. Looking forward to returning.
There are no words to describe how incredibly wonderful this vet practice is!!! In all my decades of having dogs, this is the ONLY vet my dog has gone in, not started shaking and laid down comfortably during her appointments. I have found each and every person who works there to be super kind, informed, accommodating and ready to help any way they can. We've seen three different vets within the practice and each one has been outstanding. Each one has taken time to genuinely give us their full attention during our appointments and it never feels rushed. Typically, I prefer to see same vet for continuity of care. But these ladies document and communicate with each other so well, it has been seamless seeing different vets. I never feel judged about my limited budget and so appreciate each vet's efforts to find affordable solutions. I can't recommend Family Pet Hospital enough!!! You ladies are the BEST!!
Our cats have seen a few of the vets here, we love them all! Leaving our vet in Loveland was a tough decision but the vets at Family Pet are gentle with our four kids and have absolutely no complaints.
